My Personal Story – Why I Started I Go Gym

I still remember the first time I stepped into a gym. I didn’t know what to wear, how to use half the equipment, or even if I belonged there. It was intimidating. But deep down, I knew I wanted to change not just physically, but mentally. I wanted to feel stronger, more confident, and proud of myself for showing up.

That’s where the idea for I Go Gym began. It wasn’t about being perfect or looking like a fitness model. It was about the decision to try. The decision to say, “I go gym,” even when it’s hard. That statement became a mindset something that kept me going when motivation dipped or life got hectic.

Over time, I realised that I wasn’t the only one who felt this way. I met people who were nervous about starting, others who struggled to find gymwear that made them feel good—especially those looking for modest options—and many who just wanted to be part of something real.

So I created I Go Gym for all of us.
